What can we do if we do get sick?
If the jungle bug hits you, here are some tips of what can get you up and running again and help you move away from living on the toilet in no time!
Maybe it is not a question of IF you got sick when you travelled in high-risk countries of getting the “jungle bug” - travel diarrhea and/or food poisoning – but how often and for how long? So, why do we get it? And more importantly; How can we prevent it from coming in the first place?
Most of Koh Ta Kiev’s quiet charm and paradise feel comes from the island’s lack of development. That seems like a blessing, rather than a curse—until you run out of supplies.
There are a few necessities that you won’t be able to find once you get to the Koh Ta Kiev island. And if you are anything like us who booked 2 nights and decided to stay 3 weeks, we recommend you overdo it rather than pack minimum. There are things you will need to know and might want to bring to the island before you go.

We all know we need to drink water – especially when it is warm. Travelling can get us out of our normal habits and we might not even drink as much as we normally do. If we also have to buy water bottles it makes it even more inconvenient. Luckily there are many great options to not only get easier access to water when we travel, but also good water. What is good water? What alternatives are there? And how much water do we actually need?
Your brain’s brain (the cerebellum) gives you the ability to develop skills focus, stay calm and on top. If you feel overwhelmed, anxious, unfocused and lack performance, you need individual physical exercises to stimulate your skill learning centre and free up space in your working memory. No brain game or mental effort will do that. Question is: how can you reactivate your brain? We have found a key that worked for us.
